Megatron NOT in Transformers 2?? (And Other Surprising Super Cool Facts You Should Know)

The ultimate Transformers website, Transformers Live Action Movie Blog, has provided for those of us that are "word impaired" a summarized cliff notes version of the articles that came out this past Monday in Empire and USA Today (because like most of us including me, I love PICTURES more than WORDS!), and there are some pretty incredible news tidbits that have come straight from the great spin mountain witches mouth, Michael Bay...so they must be true!  (I hate and love you all at the same time Michael Bay! (btw thanks Onion for the awesome Bay Oscar laugh...) So first, ...

Get Your Liev Shreiber Fix Before He Simultaneously Makes You Happy and Sad

You by now have surely seen the awesome visuals from the X-Men Origins: Wolverine Trailer, and although they have satiated your geek flavored need of X-Men deliciousness, you still want more. Hugh Jackman's "Australia" did little more than make you want to shoot the guy that was talking loudly in front of you during the next movie you went to, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". Seeing another Ryan Reynolds romantic comedy is roughly the equivalent of John Wayne Bobbit starring in the sequel to "Groundhog Day". It's been two years since you have seen Dominic Monaghan as Charlie Pace on "Lost", and now ...

I think you all know by now how much I loathe the Houston Texans football team. I have tried to be a fan, I have tried to support them and go along with the local masses but all to no avail. I could continue to list the reasons I hate them with so much ire but instead I will now present you with the sole reason I still watch some of the games (besides hoping to see them lose) and also our combined#6 on our hotness countdown. These ladies primary goal in life is to look good and there aren't many words to describe them so I will let the pictures do the talking from here: The Houston Texans Cheerleaders (all ...

Exclusive Transformer 2 Pics are Here! (dont hold your breath)

by Grumms
December 29th, 2008

Well this past weekend, we heard that new Transformers 2 pics would be coming this Monday (today) via Empire and USA Today and here they are!  Weee! And guess what, THEY SUCK.  Grrr...(and no Mike Tyson isn't in the movie with Michael Bay doing a cameo as a Spanish Flamenco dancer.  But because he gives us the below shit, I give you this in return...) Actually, they aren't THAT bad...I suppose.  I honestly expected to see some of the new Transformers in action but the Michael Bay Tease Machine is in full effect.  Here is what we get though: Spec Ops infiltrating what could be a super secret Decepticon ...

Sylvester Stallones Mercenary Movie The Expendables

There are few things in life that really get my spark plug going; a good meal, some steamy coitus, hot dogs, taking long walks with my cat in a dog kennel and bad ass action movies.  If you were to tell me tomorrow that a great 80's style action movie was hitting the theater, I would be all over that bitch.  The action movies of today are really a let down.  Now hold on before you think I am crazy and you leave the page.  I love all movies (in some way shape or form), I just think that the action heroes of the 80's-90's kick the shit out of any ...

The Day the Box Office Stood Still

I love old Sci-Fi movies and TV shows. There is nothing better after a hard day of writing than sitting on the couch and flipping the TiVo to some old Twilight Zone reruns or popping in an old classic like The Day The Earth Stood Still. I am partial to these oldies because the actors did just that, they acted. Even when a big tin robot named Robbie came after Leslie Nielsen in Forbidden Planet you could see the fear in his eyes and hear the timber in his voice. What most movies today seem to generally consists of a decent storyline, the hottest people Hollywood can find (I don't mind the hotties) and some ...
