GEEK FLAVORS HOTTEST BABES OF 2008 (PART 4)

by
December 24th, 2008

I love suspense (in case you could not tell) which is why I have kept you all in the dark for so long with my hottest babes list. I like to make you wait and yearn for the next installment but it isn't only that, I have been wrestling with the remainder of the list. You see there are so many babes out there these days that narrowing down the list is hard. Many factors go into the list such as acting credits, accomplishments, nude scene credits, sluttiness and earnings. So keeping all of this in mind try to remember that there are intangibles that help determine a babes placement on this list. Having said that I present our number 7 Hottest ...

Will Ferrells Land of the Lost!

by
December 23rd, 2008

At the beginning of the year, I'm sure you all heard, that Land of the Lost was being remade into a feature film and none other than Will Ferrell was starring.  Well here is the first movie poster for the film, and although we have all suffered through Elf, and Bewitched, and Kicking and Screaming, you can never, ever forget the comedic genius that was Step Brothers. I bet this movie is actually going to be pretty fun.  Of course, Land of the Lost will probably not be as raunchy and perverted as Step Brothers (although, you can only hope...and you know what I'm talking about Chaka's mom fans...), but you know, it's fucking ...

Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans Weeks Away (Trailer Looks Pretty Awesome!)

Over the past week or so, more movie posters have been released for the upcoming (Jan 23rd) release of Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans and yes admittedly I have pretty much ignored them.  Not a big fan of vampire movies...don't really get all geeked out when the next one comes out.  The genre just doesn't do shit for me. Despite these sentiments, I actually watched both of the first Underworld movies and I actually thought they were both pretty good.  The story was second to none, the special effects were incredible, the acting was superb, the...what the fuck am I talking about...the ONLY reason why I watched the first two Underworld ...

Sin City and 300s Frank Miller Taking On Buck Rogers On The Big Screen!

by
December 19th, 2008

It looks like Frank Miller (300, Sin City, The Spirit) and his production company Odd Lot Entertainment are in discussions to bring Buck Rogers to the big screen.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, Miller will write and direct the flick and it is expected to take on a darker side following more of his film noir themes and visuals of his previous works Sin City and The Spirit.  Although Miller is currently mulling over a Sin City 2, this would no doubt be a priority project for him. Ok...I gotta stop right there.  What the holy twiki shit was the publicist for Buck ...

I have to be honest, I haven't really had any high expectations for this movie.  I know some other writers here at Geek Flavor have already reserved their place in line for the movies pending release (Aug 7th, 2009), as well as have already begun to design the costumes that they are going to wear to premiere night (see end of this article for exclusive Geek Flavor GI Joe Costume pic), and seriously, after some of the movie stills were released (including one of Storm Shadow recently seen here on GF), I can't help but think Street Fighter The Movie.  I'm sorry, GI Joe fans (I'm one of them) ...

New X-Men Origins: Wolverine Bad Ass Trailer!

by
December 15th, 2008

Those of you that paid your good hard earned money to see Keanu destroy a planet with his bad acting JUST to see the X-Men Origins: Wolverine trailer I hope got your moneys worth (yeah I chickened out at the last minute.  Sorry Butters for leaving you at the movie theater with two tickets...that you bought...oopsie).  Those of you who didn't get to go, can now see the entire trailer here, in beautiful HD glory...and without dick heads standing up to get popcorn blocking the screen in front of you. [flash]http://mediaservices.myspace.com/services/media/embed.aspx/m=48169656,t=1,mt=video[/flash] My initial thoughts, some of the fight scenes (primarily between Sabretooth and Wolverine) look a little "fake".  I don't know if that's ...

GEEK FLAVORS HOTTEST BABES OF 2008 (PART 3)

by
December 14th, 2008

We are cruising down the list now making our slow but steady progression all the way down to our hottest hotty of 2008. As we make this brief but not unimportant stop off at #8 I realized what had been missing so far. I decided to back track a little and revamp the list after I noticed there wasn't one Cougar included. So here go with my big #8 of 2008: MELORA HARDIN: You may know her as Jan from The Office, the legal jargon talking, pant suit wearing executive hotty that steams of the set. Melora is a Houston native, and even at 42 she is still smoking hot. Although she has ...

Inglorious Bastards. Will This be Quentin Tarantinos Best?

I was not gonna touch this movie till it came out, but my favorite brethren silverback just had to go and mention something about Seth Gecko (who absolutely has the coolest tattoo of all time) and it got my Tarantino juices flowing. Mr. Tarantino is my favorite writer/director of all time.  NO JOKE!  There will never be another writer/director like him.  Tarantino has this tremendous gift of being able to make you sit in your seat watching two characters interact in conversation and you will be completely enthralled by what they are saying.  In the Bollywood world of special effects, explosions, stunts and ...

Twilight Movie Kills Another Great Movie Classic!

I'm not a really huge fan of vampire movies.  There is no specific reason, but I think that it may stem from the control aspect.  Where a vampire seemingly is in complete control of a situation through strong will, enhanced senses, animal control, shape-shifting, and whatever mumbo jumbo eye brow raised hypnosis stuff that he does to wield his powers over a helpless victim, a zombie is purely a walking, death machine.  Whether slow or fast, a zombie is mindless and only wants one thing, regardless of powers and abilities: the very yummy, scrumptious, taste of human flesh and blood.  Yes!  I absolutely love zombie movies! Oh by the way, in case ...

The Haunted World of El Superbeasto Cometh

Alright all you CRAZED Rob Zombie fans The Haunted World of El Superbeasto is in the editing room and it looks like we are gonna finally get a stab at this movie around early 2009.  This has been a long haul of a project for Zombie.  It has taken him 3 years to get where he is right now and frankly I am gonna be honest- if this movie sucks, don't look for Zombie to get picked up by a major motion Bollywood company for a while.  The guy is super-fucking-bad-ass and I think he is a talented mind, but after the pile of elephant shit remake that Halloween was, he just needs to knock one out of the ...
