Here is a little Ron Burgundy movie trivia that I bet you never even picked up on. Watch the ending of Anchorman and I bet an outtake will remind you of a great 1980’s film. Well it should because the outtakes were directly inspired by Smokey and the Bandit II. The S&B films were the first to start showing deleted scenes and outtakes in the credits and this kept following Burt Reynolds throughout his comedic films.
Now I must admit the stuff back in the day is pretty damn funny, but I could sit for hours and watch Will Ferrell do a one take continuous monologue. It is amazing that he can come up with so many ideas that quickly. The man is a genius.
